2026年3月28日（土）～4月12日（日）まで開催していた「写真展 “環 – 意図と偶然の境界” 」にて、足を運んでいただいた皆様、誠にありがとうございました。

本日をもちまして、個展「環 – 意図と偶然の境界」は無事に全会期を終了いたしました。
今回は初の総合作品展として、これまでの歩みを凝縮した展示となりました。自然が見せる一瞬の表情に、日本独自の美意識を重ね合わせ、意図と偶然の間に生み出してきた作品たち。それらを一つの空間で繋ぎ、皆様にお届けできたことを大変嬉しく思っています。
会期中は、地元京都の方々から海外からお越しの方まで、国境を越え多くの方にご高覧いただきました。
「美しい」という言葉とともに、去り際にいただいた「見てよかった」という温かなお声が、何よりの励みとなりました。
これからも写真表現を通じて「日本の美」を追求してまいります。

効率や数値が優先される現代において、私が捉えようとするのは、その対極にある「ままならないもの」の気配だ 。「環（たまき）」とは、意図が偶然を呼び、偶然が意図を動かす「事象の巡り」を指す。
極にある「ままならないもの」の気配だ 。
その意図と偶然の境界に現れる幾何学的な美や、黄昏時の静寂、宇宙を想起させる錦鯉の舞 。
それらは古来、日本人が「縁（えん）」として慈しんできた美徳に他ならない 。
本展は、日本人の美意識を探求し続けてきた各連作を通じ、意図と偶然が織りなす一期一会の美をひとつの物語として編み直す 。現代における「日本の美の原風景」を再構築するための試みである 。
In an era dominated by efficiency and quantifiable data, my work seeks the essence of the “uncontrollable”—those profound moments that exist beyond human logic.
“Tamaki” (The Circle) represents the eternal cycle of phenomena, where human intent and natural chance influence and inspire one another. At the boundary of intent and chance, a singular beauty emerges: the geometric forms of a pruned branch, the stillness of twilight, or the cosmic dance of koi. These are what the Japanese have traditionally cherished as “Enn”—the invisible threads of connection.
Through a series of works that persistently explore Japanese aesthetics, this exhibition reweaves the beauty of Ichigo-ichie—a fleeting, once-in-a-lifetime encounter born from the interplay of intention and chance—into a single narrative. It is an endeavor to reconstruct the “archetypal landscape of Japanese beauty” in a contemporary context.
